Breaking The Rules

Mom says I am NOT allowed on the furniture in the living room (everyone "hangs" on the couch in the kid's room & beds are 'all good' too) but Dad says "Why not?? He fits!!"
PLEASE tell me mom's not looking!! Dad did it, it's not my fault, mommy!!!!!

Fluffer-Nutter

I like to lay on "the Dutches's" bed so I can be up high enough to watch her Bunny-Rabbit, Fuffer-Nutter!! I know I'm not allowed to touch, so I sit or lay nicely & watch to make sure that bunny doesn't do anything funny. . .
There's that lop-eared bunny, they say his name is "Fluffer" b/c he's fluffy & "Nutter" b/c he's a nut! He was here first---and he lives here too just like the cat. . . .
It's just SO HARD being good

Paws 4 A Cause!

I am doing my first Picasso Pooch!! Since the IBR garage sale is tooo far away for us to really help w/ we wanted to donate a Hawk-origional! It's something really neat that mom's work, Kenl Inn, does & people really love it! So here we go! Ewwww the paint is squishy between my toes! What do you call a dawg w/ no arms & no legs that hangs on the wall? ART---bad joke we know. Now we have to soak our tootsies to get the paw-paint off. Whaah-Laaaa!! Who knew I had such talent!

They call me Hawk

They call me Hawk now---my mom says when she gets me ILP registered my registered name (sounds fancy doesn't it) will be Cora's Nathanial Hawkeye, a nod to the girl they found me with! Speaking of mom I LOVE her!! I am having a lot of fun in my new, busy house---there's lots to do: road trips (my first one over Easter was scary though, I was afraid I was going to have to start over again), rollerblading, d/c @ my mom's work (that's me w/ a dobi-girl named Greta--we're doing Gym n' Swim), long walks, & lots of toys! (that's my big brother Mac, a Standard Poodle) I even come when called (when mom is w/in 10 feet & we've got eye contact--which mom says is a great start!) I love it here!! Thank you so much Illinois Birdog Rescue for getting me into such a GREAT for-ever Home!

I'm Having So Much Fun

My foster mom takes me to day care to play and it's so much fun. She works there and we get to bond all day.
Stuffy toys are really neat and I love my big soft bed.
The best part of my new family, well, just look on the couch and I need not say anything else. That smile says it all. I love it here!

Meet my New Mom and Dad

My foster family took me to Iowa this morning to meet my new Mom and Dad. They drove all the way from Nebraska just for me. It was a good ride for me, but for my foster dad, it was a little different. We had snow here in Illinois and the roads were tough through parts of Illinois- but it is bright in sunny in IA.

I'm also going to have kids, 2 new dog buddies and will be a big part of the Doggie Day Care Program where my new mommy works. What Fun!

BIG Thanks to every one involved in getting me to this point in my life. To think a month ago I was wondering the fields of Ohio with Cora and now this. I have to pinch myself to believe it's not a dream. I hope Cora will enjoy her new family as well and be as happy as I know I'm going to be. Hope we meet again some day Cora.

I love you.
Nate

What a Surprise!

When I got to my overnight house, I had a really big surprise. My partner Cora was there to greet me. WOW!

I've missed you too.

So, things go'n okay for you?

Running like old times.
